After hearing from many people, who offered kind words and suggestions, I’ve decided to continue publishing my blog as a “newsletter” through Substack.

It’s still called Read Her Like an Open Book, but I decided to use my name in the URL because it’s shorter and simpler.

If you sign up, you’ll receive an email every time I publish a post, which they call a “newsletter” because of the email delivery. But the posts remain published and archived on my Substack page, just like on this WordPress site.

For the time being you can sign up for a paid subscription ($5 monthly or $50 yearly) or a free subscription. NB: The free subscribers will only receive occasional posts, while the paid subscribers will receive everything I post.

Having a free partial subscription option allows me to attract new subscribers by letting them sample the blog’s content. The price is minimal, so I’m hoping most people will decide a month of content is worth as much as a cup of Starbucks coffee.

My Substack page is set up for discussion and other forms of interaction. I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts on my posts and all sorts of bookish things.
