Today’s must-read: the excellent opinion piece in the Wall Street Journal by the Daily Lit website’s Editorial Director Yael Goldstein considering the fact that many women actually prefer that a “women’s fiction” category exist and explaining why Daily Lit decided to eliminate it. Goldstein raises many thought-provoking points central to the issue of gender equality in publishing.
That article was very much #FoodForThought – Some excellent points were raised, and I, prior to reading the article was of the opinion that ‘Women’s Fiction’ should have it’s own category.
The piece provided some excellent clues about the a foundation beneath the idea. #Concerning
Great post and thanks for sharing!
